06 What does a membership cost, and who can pay for it?
Memberships are $39.70 per month and run month-to-month. Income protection covers the enrolled individual only, so separate memberships are required for multiple individuals.
Under the Qualifying Guardian provision, a direct family member — spouse, parent, or grandparent — may enroll and pay premiums on behalf of an eligible worker.
Premiums are waived while a member is actively receiving job-loss benefits, and resume upon re-employment. Deactivation requires a written email request with 30 days' notice.
